The Maine coast is notorious for its treacherous waters and jagged coastline, whose 50 miles of sea have been called an “ocean graveyard.” Between Truro and Wellfleet, there are said to have been over 1,000 shipwrecks. Whaleback Lighthouse sits on one of the farthest tips of this stretch, providing a warning to ships in these dangerous waters.

This secluded outpost is the dominion of Jorgen Olsen and Finn Johansen, who have manned the lighthouse for the past ten years. With a background in Engineering, Finn has crafted a revolutionary diving suit that enables the wearer to dive to a greater depth without the constraints of air tubes. The suit liberates its wearer from the shackles of the surface, opening a portal to a world once considered unreachable.
