Professor Chu
Professor Jiao-Ling Chu possesses an intellectual prowess that has earned him degrees in chemistry and physics. He has the unique honour of studying under the legendary Alfred Nobel and the esteemed Niels Bohr, both Nobel Prize laureates. In 1902, Katadesis, recognising Chu’s potential, invited him to join their fellowship. Accepting, he chose not to remain solely within the academic confines of Katadesis but to travel the world in search of ancient manuscripts. Through his relentless pursuit, he has been instrumental in acquiring some of the society’s most coveted artefacts. Beneath Chu’s unassuming exterior and absent-minded façade lies a razor-sharp intellect and insatiable curiosity. His linguistic prowess spans many languages, enabling him to decipher the most cryptic texts. The professor is also a passionate, albeit erratic, violinist.

Chu smiled. “When looking for answers, I always find it is best to start with the obvious and move outward. Whatever is left, however far from our understanding, generally has some merit if not the answer itself.”
