The private museum at Pandini’s mansion contains many beautiful and rare pieces from antiquity and the Renaissance, along with his collection of books. One of his most prized pieces is a head with a collar. The skull and face are perfectly preserved, perhaps through mummification. They are surrounded by an elaborate headdress inscribed with symbols. No one has yet identified its origin, which is thought to predate the Egyptian period.
